Central control box
The central is the heart and the brain part of the system, it must at least meet the following requirements with us;
Insensitive to electrical disturbances such as thunderstorms.
Sufficient battery capacity in case of power failures.
Sufficient groups in combination with an extensive memory with time and date, so that the cause can be quickly traced in the event of alarms, malfunctions or other ambiguities.
Sturdy metal cabinet to protect the equipment.
Our preference is for Galaxy, Aritech and SPC (Siemens) power stations.
In special cases we also use other power stations; eg Aritech if it has to be a small and “low budget” system, or a wireless system if cabling is not possible.
Detection
Detectors are the eyes and ears of the system, signaling intruders in the home or attempts to break in. All detectors used by us are certified by the SCB, we know e.g.;
Magnetic contacts, which respond to the opening and closing of doors and windows.
Passive Infrared detectors, which respond to the movement of human body heat.
PIR/radar detectors, these react to body heat, but only if the radar part also detects a displacement of mass.
A number of detectors are used more often by us, these include the;
EV/DD1012(AM) range of detectors, for residential and small office spaces.

Alarming
Alarming is the voice of the system, by which we mean everything that serves to alert residents, the police, local residents and the burglar himself. We know e.g.;
Automatic telephone dialers that forward their reports via your existing telephone line to a private emergency center (PAC) approved by the Ministry of Justice, or alternatively to private addresses, pagers, car telephones, etc. (note with ISDN lines and calling over ADSL or cable via IP )
A siren placed inside, to warn the residents and to chase the burglar away as quickly as possible, in order to limit the damage as much as possible.

A flashing light as a beacon for the alerted police, local residents and others.Service
The operation must be very simple, with a clear LCD screen, so that the memory is easy to read.
Control room
It is customary to connect the burglar alarm systems to a Private Alarm Center (PAC) (say control room), this works as follows;
As soon as your intruder alarm system sounds an alarm, it is passed on to the control room computer via your existing telephone line.
The following information then appears on the screen of the dispatcher: customer: your name, address and place of residence.
Type of report: burglary, fire, malfunction, etc.
Location: front door, hallway, etc. (not on all systems)
Handling: police numbers, warning addresses, etc.
Comment : additional information provided by you
